Actually, since most mirrors update their stable release trees rather
less frequently than Cooker, the problem is fairly unlikely to happen
for updates. I agree it'd be nice to solve it, but I'm not losing too
much sleep over the prospect. When the process has gotten broken in the
past it's not been because of an unfortunate sync time, it's simply been
that the packages were not uploaded to the master mirror in the right
order.
