No matter the external display I plug; the resolution is always reported as
VGA 640x480.
I have tried plugging several external displays/beamers with various
resolution and have no choice but 640x480 resolution, if i try to unify
outputs the lvds of my laptop is all messed up (desktop is 640x480 on the
upper left corner) and i have to restart X.
This is also true for 2008.1.
