Hum thinking twice about your post (works with same card for you) i remembered
that when i bought this laptop the manufacturer told me that it was Linux
certified and all the hardware is supported except the "docking station"
because they use some wires from the VGA connector to multiplex the signals
for the docking and there is no Linux driver for that hardware :-(
I had never eared about that hardware before, but this may be a reason for
EDID not working ?
