It would be nice to be able to use KDE4 as I was before the migration,
but since the migration it refuses to start on my system because of what
appears to be D-BUS comms failures, and none of the subsequent kde4
package updates have rectified the problem. Also the individual kde4
applications also seem to not work properly in kde3, which is annoying
as some of them are the kde3 defaults, eg: when insert a cd in the rom
driver the option dialog box that pops up with the "open in new window"
option runs dolphin when clicked, when then complains that it can't open
the url but runs anyway and shows an empty in my case //media:/hdc.
regards,
Steve
