Yes, I already have amarok 1.4.8 (the one that was used when kde3 was not
moved to /opt/kde3 yet).
Do you mean I should remove amarok before installing kde3-amarok ?
I will try this, but in that case perhaps kde3-amarok could have a
'replace' directive or sthg like that to ensure amarok 1.4.8 is removed
automatically ?
