(I'm making yet another attempt to transition to kde4. <sigh>)

On my kde4 test user, I rename all ~/.kde* out of the way then log into kde4.
Both .kde and .kde4 are created and populated with config files. Which set
controls kde4 configuration?

On a possibly related topic, is session management supposed to work in kde4?
I've tried repeatedly to save session, but it's never remembered on the next
log in. Neither are konsole profiles that I've added.

Finally, does kde4 have any equivalent to kde3's "konsole --type su" command,
allowing you to start a root terminal? It's a minor point; just curious.

Thanks,
Arn
