Since the cooker update that updated FF to 2.0.0.14, if FF 2/3 is active
and one clicks on a URL in say thunderbird, a second instance of FF is
launched rather than displaying the page in the active instance. If I
click on the URL again a third instance is started, etc. I have manually
looked through every preference setting in FF and cannot see anything
controlling this functionality. What do I need to do to reverse this.
Also I have FF 3 configured internally as the default browser, and I
have FF 3 specified as the default browser in kcontrol, but if I click
on a URL in say thunderbird and FF is not already active, FF2 is
launched rather than FF3. This functionality, like above, changed with
the upgrade to FF 2.0.0.14. What do I need to do to get the configured
functionality working?

regards,
Steve
