Hi
For people who own intel graphic cards, an interesting news. First,
the background : intel graphic card driver is using EXA by default
which is supposed to be better, but in fact, is much slower than XAA.
That's the reason why Mandriva patched the "system" (xorg.conf) so
that XAA is used instead of EXA.
Fedora 9 seems to include an enhanced version of the driver which
makes EXA competitive once again with XAA in terms of performances.
Would be nice to integrate those patches as well in Mandriva Cooker
and then decide (based on QA and cookerians tests) if we switch to EXA
or XAA by default.
