I chatted with Dave Airlie and a couple of other ATI driver developers.
None of the newly split drivers support Mach 32 chips, and they also
don't believe they will work with the vesa or fbdev drivers. They think
the vga driver is the only one with a shot of working, so I mapped them
to that, as the best available option.
