I don't think we do, but one of the guys I was chatting to said they
have one at SUSE - 'libv', not sure who that is. Here's the whole
conversation:
Jun 17 16:27:29 <adamw> quick question about the radeon / r128 / mach64
split: which bit should support mach32 cards? mach64 ?
Jun 17 16:28:14 <airlied> adamw: mach32 if it still lives is in mach64.
Jun 17 16:28:23 <airlied> but we may have removed it, as really
mach32 ..
Jun 17 16:28:26 <libv> adamw: the original split out of mach64 contained
a statement in the README that a separate mach32 driver would be
mandatory, but that, since i didn't have the hardware to implement it
Jun 17 16:28:34 <adamw> okay
Jun 17 16:28:46 <libv> adamw: mach32 support was removed from the mach64
driver as well though
Jun 17 16:28:47 <adamw> i've got two IDs in our (Mandriva's) database
for Mach32 cards
Jun 17 16:28:48 <airlied> is mach32 isa only?
Jun 17 16:28:55 <airlied> adamw: oh there was pci ones..
Jun 17 16:28:58 <libv> airlied: no, there are some pci devices
Jun 17 16:29:02 <adamw> well, that, or they're bogus entries :)
Jun 17 16:29:14 <adamw> the IDs I have are 0084 , 0088 and 4141
Jun 17 16:29:16 <libv> there's a card here at suse
Jun 17 16:29:35 <adamw> so i guess all I can do is map them to a generic
driver (vesa or fbdev) then?
Jun 17 16:29:39 <airlied> libv: does any driver work on it? I assume
vesa might not
Jun 17 16:29:51 <libv> vesa is indeed a no go
Jun 17 16:29:54 <libv> this predates vbe
Jun 17 16:29:58 <adamw> how about vga or fbdev ?
Jun 17 16:30:13 <libv> vga, sure, no clue about fb
Jun 17 16:30:18 <adamw> i'll go with vga then
Jun 17 16:30:20 <adamw> thanks guys
Jun 17 16:30:23 <libv> yw
Jun 17 16:30:31 <airlied> I think vga is mostly killed also.
Jun 17 16:30:49 <libv> nobody has ever written up an int10 driver
Jun 17 16:30:50 <adamw> you mean to tell me current X.org doesn't care
about obscure fifteen year old graphics cards? for shame!
Jun 17 16:31:11 <libv> at least not for xfree86 4.x.x and descendants
Jun 17 16:31:16 <adamw> feh, i'll map them to vga and the world's sole
remaining user can bug me about it if it doesn't work
Jun 17 16:31:17 <libv> because that would be perfect in this situation
Jun 17 16:31:48 <daniels> it's a new and untested plan, but we're trying
it. if someone else wants to care, they're more than welcome, but time
seems to have shown that the only people who are interested are tsi and
libv.
Jun 17 16:31:50 <libv> and would be the handhold between the ledge that
is vesa, and the steep drop that is vga :)
Jun 17 16:32:16 <airlied> yeah I'm sure we could port XFree86 mach32
support :)
Jun 17 16:32:28 <airlied> oh wait I also have some rusty nails and a
hammer.
