Hi,

Just out of curiousity, it seems mp3 decoding and encoding is not a
problem for Mandriva from a patent point of view. So why is the lame
encoder not provided in main or contrib ? It prevents audiocd:/
kioslave from extracting tracks on audio CDs to mp3.
