We got in touch with some Mozilla folks who confirmed xulrunner is
"semi-supported" by just using firefox3 tarball and building it with
xulrunner compilation flags.

I think it is an error from their side to not release a separate tarball
but anyway, all other distributions have switched to a similar way of
packaging xulrunner / FF3.
