Over the past week or two I've noticed that network service says that it fails
to start at boot. However, my network (two ethernet devices, one to DSL
router, one to LAN) is working perfectly and I can't find any error messages
in the logs.

During shutdown, however, I see messages (one each for lo, eth0, and eth1)
that say "inet prefix is expected rather than 0/0."

I'd be happy to file a bug report if I had clue what was happening.
