Right you are! When I change that, it now complains right away about
having chosen multiple MPMs and exits like a good ebuild should.

What I don't understand is why this very same ebuild worked before.
emerge -xxx world suddenly decided it needed to rebuild apache. Well,
gentoo has its mysteries and has bitten me before, I guess it will
continue to do so.
