Abiword was removed from RHEL-3 (See http://HEL-3.ora-code.com)/RHEL-4 (See http://HEL-4.ora-code.com) out of support concerns... not
as in Abiword is full of bugs.. but out of the 8 editors that we ship,
which ones can we focus on. The OpenOffice was coming on strong and it
was decided to focus on it.

You might try the Fedora Core 3 version 2.0.12. I don't think you
would be able to get the 2.2 or 2.4 versions working on RHEL-3 (See http://HEL-3.ora-code.com)/4 due
to so many dependency changes.

Openoffice in RHEL-4 (See http://HEL-4.ora-code.com) will do this.
