There isn't any way to get it to preempt the mount, but you can turn off automounting of blank CDs. Go to "Desktop->Preferences->Removable Drives and Media" and uncheck the "Perform action on blank discs when inserted" option. Or simply kill the Nautilus "burn CD" window when it comes up.
