You can enable rollbacks within the up2date configuration file /etc/sysconfig/rhn/up2date enableRollbacks=1. This will repackage the rpm and place it in /var/spool/repackage. You can use up2date -- list-rollbacks to see the roll backs. There is more info in the up2date man page.
