Back I have not all of the posts, just the one that I chimed in on. What exactly do you mean about details about servers and configurations. I have a web server using Apache, what do you need? I'm not sure of what you are asking?

I have successfully setup 3 Red Hat AS v4 servers and now one HP-UX 11.i server using SAMBA, CIFS, AD, and Winbind. Your duplicate name is because you created the keytab file on the Windoze AD server and then when you did the net join you now have, in your AD Domain for Users and Computers a Computer with the name of your UXserver and the User that is linked to your UXserver when you used the command - ktpass princ host/UXserver.YourDOMAIN.com@(protected) mapuser SomeUser -pass UserPassword out unixUXserver.keytab You do not need to do the keytab file. I have done this without that piece.
I'll send you an Doc that I compiled for SAMBA/AD Win to follow. Let me know if this helps.

Now I'm getting the message that says:
"You were not connected because a duplicate name exists on the network."
(this is of course a winblows message)
