I got a Linksys WiFi Access Point and get it working on the network as a network bridge rather than as an access point. Once you get a PC working to access the network, just plug the printer in, and assign it a static IP on the network, and go for it. It's like having a wireless card in the printer without actually having one while taking advantage of the built-in jetdirect interface.
