Odd kernel messages 2007-02-25 - By Victor Orgos
Back Hi,
I've got a webserver box and I noticed the following on the console the other day. The box has 512MB of ram and about a 1gb of swap. Nothing has misbehaved to my knowledge so the messages are odd.
Everything is up2date except the kernel 2.4.21-27.0.4.EL which I am planning to upgrade soon. Regarding memory, top says:
Mem: 513324k av, 504804k used, 8520k free, 0k shrd, 137276k buff 339404k actv, 73288k in_d, 9584k in_c Swap: 1020024k av, 1380k used, 1018644k free 186544k cached
which looks ok to me. Anyway, here are the kernel messages. It repeats over a number of minutes and it has not happened again since. Also the SysRq function is disabled.
