snap shot of live system?

snap shot of live system?

Hi,

Not really, if you have enough disk space you might be able to move some
partitions around but it would be quite cumbersome.  You need to create
partitions on the LVM logical volumes so you'll have to make place on
your disk to create the physical volumes.

Take a look at http://www.redhat.com/magazine/009jul05/features/lvm2/
for a quick intro.  It has links to more LVM docs.

Regards

Bram
