NFSv4 problems 2007-10-17 - By Waldher, Travis R
Back As far as I can tell I have everything setup properly in exports, fstab, idmapd.conf, etc.
Yet most of the files come back with "nfsnobody" as the group owner. Some come back with the NIS groupname, all come back with the NIS username owners. This occurs on the NFS server mounting itself, as well as the clients that try to mount it.
So, some id translation is occurring, but not all.
Has anyone seen NFSv4 on rhel5 do this? Any ideas on where to look? I'm at a loss.
Thanks,
Travis
