Trying to install the Eterm rpm from:
http://www.eterm.org/download/

$ sudo rpm -Uvh Eterm-0.9.2-4.i386.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
libast.so.2 is needed by Eterm-0.9.2-4

$ sudo rpm -q libast
libast-0.5-1

$ locate libast.so
/usr/lib/libast.so.1.1.0
/usr/lib/libast.so
/usr/lib/libast.so.1

Ok, the libast version rpm I have is straight from the Eterm download
site. I searched the net and could not find the rpm that supplies
libast.so.2 Also tried linking it with libast.so.1.1.0 but that
didn 't work either.

Any idea what I need here to install the Eterm rpm?
