Ok, for some reason I was under the impression that bin mail and
sendmail would work directly without running postfix as smtpd.
Apparently not, cause none of my messages were sent until I restarted
postfix. mail nor mutt gave any clue that the messages were not sent!
mutt said "mail sent "

What did I miss? How do I send mail without running an smtp server?
