Hello, I have just downloaded this kernel, from the redhat website!
kernel-smp-2.4.9-e.30.i686.rpm
when i install it using lilo it tells me:
[root@(protected) boot]# lilo
boot = /dev/sda, map = /boot/map.0801
Fatal: Kernel /boot/vmlinux-2.4.9-e.30smp is too big
[root@(protected) boot]#
should i use grub? or will that solve anything?
why is there a size limitation? the original kernel was almost the same
size:

vmlinux-2.4.9-e.30smp
