Hi there,

I am trying to get a screensaver working. Under KDE, if I set the screensaver
using the control center, nothing happens. That is, the screensaver appears to
be set, but nothing ever happens - it never comes on. What 's more, I can 't get
the lock screen button to do anything.

So I tried xscreensaver. THe command "xscreensaver " produces a little window
with a "Settings " and a "Help " button. "Settings " simply causes the window to
vanish; "Help " does nothing.

The command "xscreensaver-demo " causes a segmentation fault.

Anybody know how I can get a screensaver working, and be able to lock the screen?
