Back Hi everyone, I am a Linux newbie so bare with me. I have recently installed RH7.3 and I am using KDE 3.0. I don 't like to login as root so I usually use the su command if I need to run a privliged command. However it doesn 't seem to be working for me. For instance when I login to X and try to run the command fdisk using su. It returns "Command not found " just as it does with an unprivilaged user. Now when I completley logout and login as root, the commands work. Does anyone know what would be causing this? I have gotten acustomed to using "su " in previous versions of Mandrake, and would like to know if anyone knows what is going wrong. Thanks
