It was there when I first started to configure it after installation of
Samba-2.2.3a

Tried but it did not solve the problem

Sorry I can 't follow. Could you please explain a little bid more.

Now I download "Samba-2.2.5-1 " from Samba.org website and upgrade my samba
application

# rpm -qa|grep samba
samba-2.2.5-1

# service smb start
Starting SMB services: [ OK ]

Only "smb services " indicated. "nmb service " disappears (which appears in
Samba-2.2.3a) Is it correct for version 2.2.5-1 ??? Kindly advise me
whether I need to have it reinstall???

Thanks in advance

Stephen
