Back Hi
I had a similar problem: 2HD; on first(30GB) W98-bootable, on second(40GB) a partition W98 and at the end RedHat 7.3. I solved: 1. Begin the install of RedHat, when it discovers that you have Linux, choose Upgrade (or Update, I do not remember the exact words). - check the "Force use of LBA32 (not normally required) " because this is not normal ;-) - check "/dev/sda (or /dev/hda - depending of what kind of HD you have) Master Boot Record (MBR) " - choose to install one of the optional packages and GO...
I had to choose to also install an optional package, because the installer would not make the modifications otherwise (It said something like "You have not choosen any upgrade, exiting install ").

Hi!!
I installed RedHat Linux 7.3., but when i boot the system and GRUB appear, i cannot start any of the OS, Windows98 and RedHat. RedHat is installed in a different HD (20GB), the problem indicate that is because of the number of cylinders, it is larger than 1023. So, i have to boot from a Floppy to be able to use RedHat.
Is there a way to fix this problem without reinstall redhat and partioning again???
Thank you!
Rubn.
