I 'm trying to install Postfix on my 7.3 machine, because I 'm not happy with
the security track record, nor the ease of operation that sendmail provides.
It says libdb-3.2.so is required as a dependency. db3 and db3-devel are
already installed, version 3.3. I tried making a symbolic link from libdb-
3.2.so to libdb-3.3.so and the rpm install fails with a seg fault when
running the postalias command in the rpm install. 7.3 comes with v.3.3 and
I 'll break other dependencies if I try to remove it and install an older
version or try to run the versions side-by-side.
Any ideas?
