Hi,

I have a ASUS A7N266VM motherboard (nvidia nforce
chipset).

While installation, after configuring the X, while
"Test " the screen goes blank and there is no activity
on CPU or HDD for long times !!!

RH 7.3 has nforce support then why am I gettting this
hangups ??

I skipped the X setup, while installation & after
searching and lots of asking I finnally managed to get
X working (had to upgrade the kernel, apply nforce &
opengl patches, manually modify the Xconfig file)

After that, it was the sound card that refused to work
!! I had to apply the nforce sound patch and manually
edit the rc.local file !!

Is the RH officially supporting nforce chipset but
there are lots of problem with it.

Please include nforce support in future releases of
red hat.

The motherboard of OEM choice is the ASUS A7N266VM,
and I myself have recommended it to many customers !!
