Chances are that your bootloader wasn 't installed in the right MBR...
An easy way around the problem is to boot with your boot disk, then run
lilo when you 're in your system.
My grub knowledge is somewhat shady, so I 'm not that sure how to use it,
but you need to run grub-conf or something similar.
Once the bootloader is properly loaded, you 'll need to hack out the
configuration files... they shouldn 't be too difficult.
