Hi,

Most of the time firmware updates are dos/Windows executables.

Can they be applied using wine?

How does RedHat cope with this problem, if people only use RH
they can 't upgrade their hardware to a usable system (Because
of the possiblity of firmware updates, hardware ships these
days with broken firmware ;-( )
