Compatability of ASUS A7N266-VM motherboard?

Is it possible to get RH7.3 to work on the ASUS A7N266-VM motherboard?

The tricky part to this motherboard is that it uses an nvidia chipset.

I first tried moving a known working RH7.3 disk to this machine and that
wouldn 't boot with the following GRUB error:

----
root (hd0,0)
Filesystem type is ext2fs, partition type 0x03
kernel /vmlinuz-2.4.18-5 ro root=/dev/hda3
[Linux-bzImage, setup=0x1400, size=0xfc78f]

Error 28: Selected item cannot fit into memory

Press any key to continue...
----

I then tried a fresh install on another disk. I did a basic install
using GRUB as the bootloader. No dice, same error.

I tried again with LILO, this time it booted. However I know I 'm going
to have to at least install the NVIDIA binary-only drivers to make video
work and the other problem is the built-in ethernet won 't come up either.

Is this motherboard a hopeless case?
