SMP Problems (x440)

SMP Problems (x440)

Ok. Try the -summit kernel. It was created with the x440 in mind, but I
though it was only necessary if you installed the second CEC containing
the other 4 CPUs. Understand however that the kernel-source package does
not contain the -summit code (you can 't compile extra modules using it,
nor can you recompile that code to get a working -summit kernel from
it.) Red Hat has an 8(16)-way x440 in the lab, but it only has 2.5 Gigs
of RAM. I know I can see all the processors in it.
