That reminds me... I installed SpamAssassin on my mail server and, when I activated it, got major complaints about the mailbox being corrupted (can 't remember the exact wording). When I looked at /var/spool/mail/klemmerj I saw that the emails did make it in but that the very first character was cut off. This happened to be the "F " in the "From: " line. I manually added the "F " and the email was fine.
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? I installed SpamAssassin system wide but have only tried to turn it on for my account. FWIW, the procmail recipe I used was fut from the docs and looks like this -
:0fw | /usr/bin/spamassassin -P -c ~/.spamassassin/user_prefs
Coherent thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
