lost /boot directory... How to reconfige grub?

Hi all,

We lost the /boot directory and we then reinstalled the kernel 2.
4.18-10 and reinstalled grub-0.91-4. We then made a boot disk of
the new kernel and now we want to recreate the grub.conf but there
isn 't one located in /boot/grub directory. New to grub... as you
can see from lack of knowledge on the subject :-)

How do we make grub see the new kernel and push to the MBR??
