its an other way like in rhl 8.0 (directly in nautilus-properties)
$gnome-theme-manager
.. symbols
but the nice old-gnome trash*.png are gone away :-(
it seems that the symbols are stored in
/usr/share/icons/_theme_/_resolution_/filesystems
copy the old-nice-gnome-trash*.png from rhl <=8.0 into this folders
and try it again
