Which version of RPM is installed right now? It doesn't look like
the one from Valhalla. Most likely you force-upgraded to an
incompatible version or used --nodeps.  I would say, you boot first
CD with recue mode and replace the installed rpm package with the
version from Valhalla. Don't enter the suggested "chroot" command.
Instead, run the RPM provided by rescue mode with a proper --root
path argument to where you've mounted your system's partition.
