Raid on Promise FastTrak TX-2

Raid on Promise FastTrak TX-2

Hi to all,

i've just bought the raid adapter mentioned in the subject and configured it
to work under linux. I'm using kernel 2.4.21 with ataraid compiled in it.
Everything works fine. After the reboot the box immediately recognize the
card and the hard drive attached to it. I was able to format my stripe array
of 2 disk with the ext2 filesystem. What i couldn't do was to recognize a
partition created on the same array with windows 2000. I tried with bot a
fat32 and ntfs partition. Linux always answered that the filesystem was
wrong. After that i formatted the arrray just to see if the card worked under
linux, and everything goes fine.
My question is: is it possible to mount partitions created with windows on a
raid array on a promise controller? Should i do something different or the
normal way of mounting disks should work?

Tnx for the attention
Alessio
