Hi all,
When I install MySQL on the Redhat Linux 7.3:
[root@(protected) luongphan]# rpm -i mysql-3.23.57.i386.rpm
I get the massage:
"Failed dependencies
MySQL conflicts with mysql-3.23.49-3
MySQL-server conflicts with mysql-3.23.49-3"
I know that RHL7.3 supports MySQL(3.23.49) but I do not know how to start mysql
and how to use mysql on Linux O/S. (When I start mysql: [root@(protected)
luongphan]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/mysql start
I get the massage "bad command".
In the directory /etc/rc.d/init.d, I cannot find the file mysql, just find the
file mysqld)
Please give me some advices!
