Antispam at pop level

Antispam at pop level

Hello,I wonder if can I find some programs for linux to avoid spam, able
to work directly at pop server stage.

My mail-chain here is based on fetchmail->qmail(with spamassassin)->procmail-
>mailbox.

Spamassin and procmail are doing their job but I don't like to process all
the mail and then find spam into my dedicated spam folder,I'd prefer to
don't download spam directly when fetchmail interrogates the pop server.
When I am at work I use W2000 (company rule) and I have tried SpamPal,an
antispam program that works exactly as I wonder for linux.

Any suggestions?

Regards,marco
