Looks like part of your problem might be:

Oct 07 08:13:01 2003 qrunner(1637): IOError :  [Errno 28] No space left on
device: '/var/mailman/locks/qrunner.lock. [cut] .1637

What's your disk space look like for the /var partition?

Mike

Hi,

I have a little problem. In the log/mailman/error I get the following
errors:

Oct 07 08:13:01 2003 qrunner(1637): Traceback (innermost last):
Oct 07 08:13:01 2003 qrunner(1637):   File "/var/mailman/cron/qrunner", line
275, in ?
Oct 07 08:13:01 2003 qrunner(1637):      lock.lock(timeout=0.5)
Oct 07 08:13:01 2003 qrunner(1637):   File
"/var/mailman/Mailman/LockFile.py", line 219, in lock
Oct 07 08:13:01 2003 qrunner(1637):      self.__write()
Oct 07 08:13:01 2003 qrunner(1637):   File
"/var/mailman/Mailman/LockFile.py", line 350, in __write
Oct 07 08:13:01 2003 qrunner(1637):      fp = open(self.__tmpfname, 'w')
Oct 07 08:13:01 2003 qrunner(1637): IOError :  [Errno 28] No space left on
device: '/var/mailman/locks/qrunner.lock. [cut] .1637

(I cut out the name of my machine (paranoid)). Anyway I cron (I presume)
creates thousands of error.x.x.x.x.x.x.x.x.x.x etc where x =1,2,3,4

What is the story? Am I missing some library of sorts? Is there a patch
that I need?

Thanks for the help.

Chas
