Where are you pulling these ip's from? I realize I didn't explain well the
first time, I was in a bit of a hurry to get things working before I left. I
just sent about a page long email stating what I have, etc. This is all on
the same machine, all the same IP address.

Sorry about that.. I just thought it was kind of obvious with the subject.
Yes, I have bind 9.

Please read the big email that I sent and see if it helps what you were
saying.

Also, what email client should I run to format these posts correctly? I
can't find any settings in outlook or outlook express to do it. It
automatticaly starts at the top of the message, and doesn't add any markings
to the original emails. :-( microsoft.

Thanks,
Jake

There are other dns servers than bind

resolve.conf:
nameserver 141.151.228.247
nameserver 192.168.0.1

host.conf:
order hosts,bind

hosts:
127.0.0.1       localhost.localdomain localhost
192.168.0.1     gateway.nittanytravel.com gateway
192.168.1.2     int.nittanytravel.com int
    [....]

If you're using nis then you also need to edit nsswitch.conf.
