Hi To All,

I would like to ask a question regarding the log messages. When I issued the
command tail -f /var/log/messages on my linux RH 7.3 and RH7.2 box I get the
details below:

[root@(protected)]# tail -f /var/log/messages
Oct 23 00:33:32 myserver -- MARK --
Oct 23 00:46:54 myserver sshd(pam_unix)[2196]: session closed for user xxxx
Oct 23 01:13:32 myserver -- MARK --
Oct 23 01:33:32 myserver -- MARK --
Oct 23 01:53:34 myserver -- MARK --
Oct 23 02:13:33 myserver -- MARK --
Oct 23 02:33:33 myserver -- MARK --
Oct 23 02:53:33 myserver -- MARK --
Oct 23 03:13:33 myserver -- MARK --

What does the MARK means?

Any ideas or suggestions is highly appreciated. Thanks.

Regards,

Emerson
