hello,

i just upgraded my rh73 to kernel 2.4.20-20.
after that rc.sysinit is unable to log messages.
"rc.sysinit: blah..." are missing completely.
messages from network interface config do not all show up.  e.g. the config
messages of
the ippp0 interface are not shown, messages from ippp1 are shown sometimes.
i already updated the sysklogd from rawhide.  doesn't help.
i _think_ the messages after startup are shown correctly...
when i boot my old 2.4.18 kernel the messages all show up correctly in
/var/log/messages.

any ideas what i should do?
