I am attempting to use NetBackup to access StorageTek 9940A tape drives via
an Emulex 9002DC HBA and a Brocade switch. Below is a set of error messages
that appears in /var/log/messages:

Dec 10 09:52:30 rpc1911 kernel: st0: Error 70000 (sugg. bt 0x0, driver bt
0x0, host bt 0x7).
Dec 10 09:52:35 rpc1911 kernel: st0: Error 70000 (sugg. bt 0x0, driver bt
0x0, host bt 0x7).
Dec 10 09:53:42 rpc1911 kernel: st3: Error 70000 (sugg. bt 0x0, driver bt
0x0, host bt 0x7).
Dec 10 09:53:47 rpc1911 kernel: st3: Error 70000 (sugg. bt 0x0, driver bt
0x0, host bt 0x7).
Dec 10 09:56:06 rpc1911 kernel: st1: Error 70000 (sugg. bt 0x0, driver bt
0x0, host bt 0x7).
Dec 10 09:57:59 rpc1911 kernel: st2: Error 70000 (sugg. bt 0x0, driver bt
0x0, host bt 0x7).
Dec 10 09:58:06 rpc1911 kernel: st2: Error 70000 (sugg. bt 0x0, driver bt
0x0, host bt 0x7).

Does anybody know what these messages are trying to tell me?

Greg Steele
