hi all..

i 'm trying to install/upgrade the glibc on a RH8 machine using the rpm
packages. when i do:

rpm -i glibc-2.2.4-Sep15a.src.rpm

i can see th hashes and all but after that when i do:
rpm -q glibc

i still get:
glibc-2.2.2-10


i tried -- force too.. same result/

any help appreciated...
