Red Hat 9 and Print Queue - Corrupt?

Red Hat 9 and Print Queue - Corrupt?

Hello all and help! :-)

I think my print queue is corrupt.

When I go into the printer queue manager:

1. The Document names are numbers like "737 "

2. Each job has the owner labeled as a date time stampt similar to :
"Tue 20 Jan 2004 05:48:35 PM EST "

3. the job numbers are users like "miked "

4. the sizes are "unknown "

5. the time submitted appear to be sizes like "187392 "

6. None of these jobs actual process through (they are stuck)

7. Any new printing such as a test cups page goes as a job at the bottom
of the list

8. The new jobs cannot print because of the invalid old jobs

9. Any attempt to delete the bad jobs results in the error message "Job
or Printer not found! "

I can not figure out how to clear the queue and try again.

Installing a new printer does not help, they still show up in the queue.

Anybody got a suggestion ?

TIA !!!
Keith
