Thanks Michael, Your instructions fixed the problem.

Are the 7.2 upgrades available on a CD like a service pack?

I seem to remember that the time estimate for downloading the upgrades over
dial-up was 27 hours. I may be confusing this recollection with the 7.1
upgrade.

This was a known issue with the 7.2 release.

As root:
'depmod -ae' should fix it.

You should apply all available updates as soon as possible.
